hogs back beer taps

The new beers, including an unfiltered version of TEA ‘Traditional English Ale’, will first roll out into the on-trade

Hogs Back Brewery has unveiled a trio of new beers.

The new beers will first roll out into the on-trade

The Surrey-based brand has added Hog IPA (4.5%), dry-hopped blonde beer Little Swine (2.8%) and an unfiltered version of its TEA ‘Traditional English Ale’.

It has also rebranded its long-standing Hogstar Lager (4.5%).

Hog IPA was “a light, hoppy ale with a blend of floral and fresh citrus notes”, said the brand, while Little Swine was “a small beer with big taste” that would tap the no and low-alcohol trend.

The quadruplet have launched primarily into the on-trade, but retail launches will follow.

Hogstar is already available in the off-trade, but will see its bottles updated with the new branding, while Hog IPA will launch into cans.

Packaging and release details for the remaining two beers were “to be confirmed”, Hogs Back said.

“The design for all four beers is clean, modern and eye-catching. While each beer has its own distinctive look, they are clearly part of the Hogs Back family, which will encourage consumers to try beers across the range.”
