You might have a sense of déjà vu right now. Soft drinks brands are mulling a similar dilemma to 2018: change their recipes or pay more sugar tax. From 2028, the levy will apply to drinks containing 4.5g of added sugar per 100ml, down from the current 5g threshold. It will also span a wider range of lines, including dairy drinks.
