Premier Foods has completed the sale of its fresh produce division MBM Produce to management for an undisclosed sum.
The division has been acquired by Abbanoy Produce Holdings, a company controlled by MBM's managing director Pepe Bascetta.
The book value of the gross assets and net assets were £47m and £23m respectively, according to Premier Foods. It first announced the sale in its preliminary results last month.
