Spar UK has appointed Cornelia Closhen to the newly created position of consumer insight manager, where she will conduct tactical and strategic consumer research and develop new formats, store ranges and availability programmes.
Closhen was previously database marketing analyst at Haven and British Holidays, where she managed a database of more than five million customers and continued the strategic analysis of internal data to inform business decisions.
Closhen holds an MA in
communication and a postgraduate diploma in marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, as well as a BSc honours in management studies from Brunel University in west London.
