Nutritional drink brand Complan is getting its healthiest round of support for 20 years with a £1m push.
The brand, now controlled under a joint venture between Heinz and Saatchinvest, will benefit from national radio sponsorship, a new website, on-pack promotions and direct marketing which will position the drink as "complete nourishment when you need it".
The brand also boasts enhanced quantities of vitamins and minerals and new packaging across its core range which includes Original, Banana, Chocolate and Vanilla drinks. Bright blue and yellow packs increase the brand's presence on shelf, while new line Complan+oats is being introduced in a bid to capture a slice of the breakfast market.
Lawrence Balfe, MD of Complan Foods, said: "Complan+oats will help to extend consumption of Complan to breakfast."
