Londis has begun a staff restructuring programme to place greater focus on its key category areas.
Senior positions will be created within the commercial department trading team. Gary Maloney, Heidi Jackson, Kenton Burchell and Martin Swadling have been promoted from trading controllers to the newly created posts of category controller.
The four will report directly to John Taylor, the group’s trading director for central distribution.
Steve Uglow will become trading controller for ambient grocery and report to Martin Swadling.
Damien Sawyer will join Londis as inventory analyst for the grocery/chilled trading team.
Londis has appointed Lee Alexander as retail development manager for Coventry and Oxford.
