US bagged snack brand Smart Fries has become the latest air-popped product to hit the UK.

Following in the footsteps of Popchips, which made its debut in UK retailers last month, Smart Fries rolled out to Wholefoods Market last week.

The seven-strong Smart Fries range, which includes garlic & rosemary and cracked pepper & salt flavours, is packed in retro-styled 85g sharing bags and 28g single-serve packs (rsp: £2.29 and 99p respectively).

The snacks, cooked using an air-popping technique, are free from transfats, cholesterol, sugar and MSG, and contain no artificial flavours or colours. A single-serve bag contains 110 calories and 1.5g of fat.
