After weeks scrutnising hundreds of entries across 33 categories, our expert judges have picked the final shortlist for The Grocer Gold Awards 2021

The awards, which celebrate and recognise the very best standards in grocery retail, will shine a light on the extraordinary achievements of companies and individuals since the outbreak of the coronavirus last January.

“This year’s Gold Awards shortlist is brimming with brilliance,” said Adam Leyland, editor-in-chief of The Grocer. ”Against a background of the pandemic, the shortlist captures the grocery sector’s heroic efforts to feed the nation, its adaptability and creativity, its massively hard work, dedication and sense of duty; and some truly incredible performances individually but above all collectively, at team, brand and company level.”

With seven new categories, 2021 will be the biggest Grocer Golds event ever. The enhanced lineup will see more emphasis given to products and suppliers, with new awards for alcoholic drinks brands, household goods, personal care and petfood.

Having been held virtually in 2020, the awards ceremony will this year return to the Guildhall in London on 5 October, where the winners will be revealed. To book tickets click here
