McCambridge Foods is expanding its Haribo-branded cake range with three festive products.
The chocolate sponge cakes topped with icing and Haribo Christmas Mix sweets come in three variants: a Christmas Platter of 12 cupcakes (rsp: £5), which launches in Morrisons in November and Tesco and Asda in December iced fairy cakes (rsp: £1/six), which will be in Tesco, Poundland and Asda and large cupcakes (rsp: £1/two), which will be in Morrisons and Asda.
McCambridge Foods was sold by Soreen owner McCambridge Group to private equity firm NBGI late last year. It also produces cakes for own-label and under licenses including Lyle’s Golden Syrup and Tetley.
