Heinz is adding a new super-convenient Snap Pots format to its iconic Beanz and Pasta ranges to cater for consumers who want an even quicker way to prepare a light snack.

2007 is set to be the biggest-ever year of innovation for the Heinz Baked Beanz, Kids (pasta ranges) and Meals portfolio, which is getting a £6m investment and includes the launch of Heinz Snap Pots. Similar to multipacks in other categories, Heinz Snap Pots can be snapped into single 200g portions and heated in the microwave for one minute before being served.

"Preparing Heinz Beanz and Pasta has never been simpler," says Nathan Ansell, senior brand manager, Heinz Beanz. "Snap, heat and eat. That's how easy it is for consumers who want a great-tasting, super-convenient snack that doesn't leave the trail of washing up that can sometimes come from opening and heating baked beans or pasta."

Heinz is offering 10 readers of The Grocer two cases each of Snap Pots. Send the form in!
