Superdug has begun offering loyalty scheme members 60% discounts on selected products every Friday.
As of today (12 August), Superdrug Health & Beautycard members can claim the discount on selected products across skincare, beauty, fragrance and personal care.
The ‘Feel Good Fridays’ offer is running alongside Superdrug’s ‘Star Buy’ discounts, offered on selected products every Thursday.
Among other benefits, Superdrug loyalty scheme members can earn one point for every £1 they spend, with 100 points equating to £1 off their next shop.
The launch of Friday discounts follows a move by Boots to offer extra rewards for loyalty card holders throughout August and September.
Both retailers have also frozen the price of a number of own label products. In Superdrug’s case it applies to 130 ‘everyday essential’ own label lines across personal care, beauty and healthcare for a year.
“We are working hard to help customers cope with the rising cost of living and want to stay ahead and continue to offer our customers the best on the high-street offers,” said Superdrug own brand director Jamie Archer.
“Our latest ‘Feel Good Fridays’ initiative offers our members the biggest discount we have ever done as a brand and will allow shoppers to treat themselves to a selection of essential and pamper products each week, to not only help with the costs of everyday must-haves but also give shoppers the chance to enjoy the little luxuries at this time.
“We have seen in recent months the impact that the cost of living is having on everyone. To be able to offer a range of amazing, best on the high street prices to our Health & Beautycard members is a move that we hope will put a smile on our customers’ faces and will continue to ensure that everyone has access to quality and value across all our products.”
