Bord Bia and Waitrose have launched an Irish farmhouse cheese range across the retailer's British stores.
The range went on to deli counters in most Waitrose stores this week, in time for St Patrick's Day. It includes cheeses from five artisan cheesemakers and includes products such as Wicklow Baun, a creamy Brie-style cheese with a smooth, buttery flavour.
There is also Carrigaline, a handmade cheese with firm and flexible texture with small holes and Gortnamona, a soft, mould ripened goats cheese with a clean flavour.
