Symington’s is aiming to get the first bagged snacks launched under the Kingsmill brand into all the big five supermarkets by this summer.

Kingsmill Mini Toasts, which rolled into 400 Tesco a few weeks ago, are bite-sized crunchy bread snacks in sea salt & balsamic vinegar, and mature Cheddar & red onion. They have an rsp of £1.59 for a pack of five 22g bags but are currently on a £1 promotional offer.

Aimed at women aged 25 to 40, the snacks are baked and contain less than 100 calories per bag.

They are the first Kingsmill lines to be launched by Leeds-based licensed foods specialist Symington’s, which also sells products under brands including Aunt Bessie’s and Peppa Pig.
