Gopuff has singed a multi-year sponsorship deal with The O2 venue, which includes providing rapid click & collect services via the venue’s app so punters can bypass concession lines.

As part of the deal, the rapid grocer has a VIP suite at the venue with “unbeatable views of the stage, a private bar and more”, seats within which will be offered to Gopuff app users as prizes through this year.

As The O2’s principal partner and official grocery, food and beverage delivery partner, Gopuff will also provide artists parforming at the venue with access to essentials while on-site and make backstage deliveries directly to artists and tour production teams.

Through the partnership, Gopuff will be accessible to The O2’s eight million annual visitors and reach a mass audience through The O2’s digital media, out-of-home advertising and activation channels.

The deal was brokered by AEG Global Partnerships, which was involved in Gopuff’s sponsorship of the Accor Arena in Paris earlier this year. 

“This partnership allows us to continue investing in improving the customer experience for our fans and premium clients, and with digital ticketing and other innovative solutions available for all customers via The O2’s app, we’re making the concert-going experience as seamless as possible through digital means,” said Paul Samuels, executive VP at AEG Global Partnerships.

“With Gopuff’s passion for fast customer delivery paired with our track record of being a leader in live events and customer-centric approach, we are confident that over the next few years, Gopuff will significantly boost the onsite experience both for fans and artists, and we’re delighted to have them on board,” he added.

This year The 02 marks its 15th birthday and will host more than 200 events including Little Mix, Billie Eilish, Queen + Adam Lambert and Kings of Leon.
