Lucozade Sport is set to launch a fitness giveaway this summer, fronted by brand ambassador Harry Kane, the Tottenham Hotspur and England striker.
Going live on 23 May, ahead of the opening of UEFA Euro 2016 on 10 June, the promotion will offer shoppers the chance to win a Fitbit Charge HR activity tracker worth £120 every 90 minutes.
Consumers will enter their on-pack codes online at LucozadeSport.com to find out instantly if they’ve won, and winners will be able to choose the colour and size of their Fitbit. The codes will be displayed on both individual bottles and multipacks of Orange, Raspberry and Mango & Passion Fruit flavours, which will be supported with in-store PoS material featuring Kane.
The push, part of Lucozade Sport’s ambition to inspire people across the country to get active, will be supported by a content-led campaign - and a partnership with Tesco will offer the opportunity for footballers to win game time on Lucozade Powerleague 5-a-side pitches across the UK.
“Lucozade Sport has long been associated with active lifestyles and fitness, and I am excited to launch this on-pack promotion with Fitbit and our brand ambassador, and sporting icon, Harry Kane,” said the brand’s head of marketing, Steven Hind.
“We feel that by giving away such a high-value and desirable prize we can drive consumers into stores to take advantage of this great promotion.”
