Wrigley’s Extra is set to bring its latest TV campaign to the UK, debuting its first ad in a ‘roadblock first’ this weekend.

Previously launched in the US and China, the Time to Shine drive will make its first UK appearance on 17 July across all commercial channels between 9pm and 9.30pm in a 60-second slot.

Shorter clips of 20 seconds will run across the remainder of 2016 on TV and online, centring on ‘harnessing inner confidence’ and reminding consumers that ‘you feel at your best’ with clean teeth.

The ad ‘roadblock’ is a first for the Mars sugar-free gum brand, said Wrigley marketing director Julio Guijarro.

“The TV campaign reignites Extra with a refreshed and innovative message that tells our story in an emotional and poignant way, while highlighting the importance of clean teeth and fresh breath,” he added.
