Tulip has launched a range of cooked meats under new brand Cherry Tree Farm.

It comprises eight products made from 100% chicken or turkey meat, and is Tulip’s first foray into branded poultry.

The meats roll out to 1,500 Co-op stores next week (rsp: £1 to £2). Lines include hickory-smoked turkey, roast chicken breast, and wafer-thin American fried chicken.

The brand would “offer busy families a quick and easy way to create great-tasting meals and snacks”, said Tulip commercial director for The Co-op Adrian Blythe.

Tulip was “confident the brand will gain additional listings with most of the UK’s food retailers over the coming months”, he added.
