Buying group Sugro UK has taken its membership to 60 with the addition of Consort Frozen Foods, Paul Burton and RA Trading.
Consort Frozen Foods is a Kent-based wholesaler specialising in ice-cream, Paul Burton is a wine merchant based in the Scottish Lowlands, while RA Trading is a north London-based drinks wholesaler.
The three wholesalers all said they would use Sugro's strength in confectionery to add snacks, impulse and confectionery lines to their current offer.
"Each wholesaler brings a unique trading style to the group and has a clear idea about where they want their business to go," said Sugro MD Philip Jenkins.
Sugro serves 1,500 stores across the UK. Its major members include Paul Young and Iain Hill, current president of the Scottish Wholesale Association.
