Hot beverages merchant Fine Foods International has appointed Sonja Bentley as its new head of sales. She also becomes part of the London-based supplier’s leadership team.
Bentley comes from Sleaford Quality Foods, where she was commercial director for more than a year. Previously, she was sales director at Cereal Partners Worldwide and held various commercial positions at Nestlé Waters, Anheuser Busch and Coca Cola Enterprises.
FFI is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of instant coffee, roast and ground coffee, and other hot beverages.
“We could not have asked for a more inspiring sales leader,” said Austin Sugarman, FFI joint managing director. “From our initial conversations it was obvious that Sonja’s focus and energy would be vital in helping us driving growth, both within our existing customer base and the development of new partnerships.”
Bentley’s appointment was key “in the continuing development of FFI’s position as the leading coffee supplier to the UK’s retailers and wholesalers”, Sugarman added, “especially given our UK production facilities and being part of the Hamburg based Cafea Group, one of the leading global coffee and beverage manufacturers.
