Suzanne Dover has joined Spar UK as brand and marketing director.
Dover has replaced Michael Lawless, who left the business earlier this month.
She has spent almost 20 years in brand development and marketing roles at a host of leading fmcg suppliers.
Most recently she was working at Hovis on a consultancy basis, supporting brand development initiatives. Before that she held senior marketing roles with Newell Brands, Mizkan Europe, Plum, Mission Foods, SMA Nutrition and Kraft Heinz.
In her new role, Dover will be responsible for the development of the Spar brand and communications, channel and shopper insight, the promotional strategy and activity plan. She will report directly to Spar UK MD Louise Hoste, who joined eight months ago.
