Bottles of the whiskeys are adorned with designs based on the songwriter’s iron sculptures

Heaven’s Door, the American whiskey brand developed with Bob Dylan, is coming to the UK. 

The brand will launch with three whiskies – Tenessee Bourbon (42% abv), Straight Rye (43% abv) and Double Barrel Whiskey (50% abv) – which will be distributed by When We Are Giants, the distribution arm of supplier Drinksology Group (rsp: £75-£95).

Tennessee Bourbon has a high-rye mashbill with small grains used “to complement the character imparted from ageing new American oak barrels”, while Straight Rye is finished in toasted oak cigar barrels havested and air-dried in Vosges, France. 

The Double Barrel Whiskey, meanwhile, is a blend of three different spirits aged for six years then brought together in American oak.

Bottles are adorned with designs based on ironwork sculptures by the songwriter.
