Capsicana has added a new Mexican guacamole mix and two seasoning mixes.
The guacamole mix, which launches this week into Sainsbury’s, contains manzano chillies and garlic, and is prepared by stirring it into mashed avocado (rsp: 65p/25g).
It was “a unique, convenient and delicious addition to the world food shelves”, said the brand’s founder Ben Jackson.
The two seasoning mixes are Mexican Smoked Cumin & Chipotle and Brazilian Smoked Paprika & Spices, which Jackson said would “bring the true taste of authentic Latin America to meal times”. They can be stirred directly into fajita mix or used as a rub (rsp: £1/28g).
The new products join Capsicana’s four-strong range of cook sauces, which are already stocked in Sainsbury’s, Waitrose and Whole Foods.
