The pots have rolled exclusively into Tesco

Halo Top has moved outside ice cream for the first time with a trio of chilled snack pots.

The brand’s new chilled pots quietly rolled into Tesco at the end of last month – the same week it unveiled its first traditional ice creams made with real cream and sugar.

The pots come in five flavours: Birthday Cake, Chocolate, Lemon Cake, Salted Caramel and Strawberry Cheesecake. They contain between 135 and 153 calories per pot (rsp: £4/2x100g).

Setting its sights beyond the freezer “felt like the next natural step” for the brand, said Halo Top International president Justin Ball. “We’ve also been blown away by the support for the brand in the UK. It only felt right that we chose the UK to be the first place in the world to experience the Halo Top brand outside of the ice cream aisle.”
