Glam UK has introduced the Electro Hot Bag designed for the home delivery market to keep food hot door to door. The bag plugs into a car's 12 volt system via the cigarette socket. Kara Foods premiered two new baked submarine rolls at the show, and claims a new application extends shelf life after defrosting from the present four days to six days. Mediterranean delicacy producer Sapori D'Italia has introduced new packaging to reflect the heritage of the company. A new label features a portrait of Salvatore Contino who founded the company in Sicily in 1937. Camps Ice Cream unveiled its new miniature Turkish Delight Ice Cream Bombes. The smooth flavoured ice cream in a milk chocolate flavour coating at an rsp of £1.49 for a six pack. Kerrygold is adding 2.5kg blocks of Dubliner to the 200g prepack to give serveover counters a chance to develop the brand in the final phase of its national roll out. The £1m TV campaign to support this activity shows a chorus line of fingers dancing to the strains of Riverdance, cutting to fingers of cheese. Hungarian company Gradiens featured a liquid organic paprika essence, the product of a new manufacturing process. Available in 10ml bottles in four strengths, the essence is instantly soluble and can be added at any point in the cooking cycle including just prior to serving. Marjoram, basil, celery and horseradish essences are under development. Responding to consumers' multipack preference, The Handmade Flapjack Company has launched triple packs of muffins (rsp from 99p), four packs of its cake bars (rsp £1.09), and topped muffin double packs (rsp 65p) to its portfolio. The company has also launched Millennium Munch, a chocolate flavour cake with added fruit and nuts. Argentinian exhibitor Andyson featured new coconut and banana flavour variants of dulce de leche.
