Berryworld attributed the growth to an increased supply of proprietary berries, especially blueberries, which are grown in both the northern and southern hemispheres

Berryworld’s turnover and profits rose significantly this year as demand for berries and prepared fruit soared.

In its latest accounts on Companies House, turnover increased from £319.5m to £356.6m in the year to 31 December 2025, which the brand said was down to buoyant sales of both berries and prepared fruit.

The berry supplier also saw operating profit rise from £4.5m to £11.6m in the period.

The brand attributed this to an increased supply of proprietary berries, especially blueberries, which are grown in both the northern and southern hemispheres and “continue to receive widespread customer and consumer approval”.

Sales at PrepWorld UK – the company’s prepared fruit division – also expanded significantly during 2025, driven by acquisitions and continued demand for existing product lines. The company added it believed there is significant potential for further growth in prepared fruit in the coming year.

“Our fresh-cut prepared business is firmly established as the market leader, with quality products and exemplary customer service levels, enabling the business to gain market share with strong performance across all customers,” the business said in a statement.

The company’s gross profit margin also increased from 9.3% to 9.9% thanks to improved trading conditions, supported by administrative costs increasing in line with levels of trade.

Looking to the future, Berryworld said that despite pressure on household budgets it was confident consumers would “continue to place importance on the consumption of high-quality fresh fruit”.

It added that it is protected from geopolitical shocks relating to the Russia-Ukraine war and the Middle East conflict as it has no direct or indirect exposures in its supply chain.
