Cadbury has dipped Twirl in white chocolate for a limited-edition release.
Billed as “a creamier and more indulgent” take on the classic chocolate bar, White Dipped Twirl (rsp: 99p/43g) will hit shelves in early June.
It is tipped by Cadbury to bring “fresh excitement” to the category, following the successful launches of Twirl Orange in 2019, Twirl Caramel in 2022, and Twirl Mint in 2023.
“We’re delighted to be building on the love of Cadbury Twirl with this new limited offering,” said Cadbury Twirl brand manager Katya Savelieva.
“The combination of milk and white chocolate is proving to be a consumer favourite, already growing ahead of the wider chocolate category,” she claimed, citing NIQ data [52 w/e 26 April 2025].
“Bringing this increasingly popular combination to life in the form of a Cadbury Twirl… will offer consumers something completely new and unique that we’re certain they’ll love,” Savelieva added.
The launch will be supported by “unmissable” PR, social and in-store activations.
Cadbury has spent recent years expanding its white chocolate repertoire to cater to shoppers’ changing tastes.
Britain’s top-selling fmcg brand added a white chocolate version of Creme Egg for Easter 2023, which it resurrected for 2024 and 2025.
Last June, Cadbury brought back its retro Top Deck chocolate bar, which comprises a layer of white chocolate on top of a milk chocolate base, after a two-decade hiatus.
