Sandford Orchards is to run its first-ever ATL multimedia campaign this summer.
The ‘Choose The Right Cider Life’ push will comprise activity across outdoor, digital and in-store. Ads will appear on billboards and bus sides across the south west during the summer months, alongside in-store activity in Morrisons in London and Birmingham.
There will also be an on-pack promotion featuring the chance to win prizes from ourdoords specialists Red Equipment, Kamado Joe and Nomad.
The campaign would emphasise Sandford Orchards’ natural, low-intervention approach to cidermaking, and help grow awareness of the brand, said chief cidermaker Barny Butterfield. Sandford Orchard’s ciders are made from locally grown apples sourced from sustainability managed orchards.
“Our strapline is ‘Cider Done Right’ and that’s where the idea for this campaign started,” said Butterfield. “But more than that, the message here is all about making positive choices. It’s about getting out there and enjoying the good things in life, such as soaking up the great outdoors, maybe a walk on the beach or sharing a cider with friends in the sunshine.”
Founded in 2002, the Crediton-based Sandford Orchards remains independent and family-owned. Its ciders are made in the oldest working cider mill in the UK, and are stocked in retailers including Morrisons and Aldi.
