The advert depicts ‘the experience of opening a bottle to share with friends and family’

Sussex winery Bolney Wine Estate is to launch its first ever TV advertising campaign.

The spot will air across ITV, Channel 4 and Sky and VOD from 24 November for two weeks.

It depicted “the experience of opening a bottle to share with friends and family” and offered “an insight into the craft behind Bolney’s award-winning wines,” according to the supplier.

Appearing on TV for the first time would help raise awareness of Bolney’s wines during “the key festive trading period”, Bolney added.

“This is a significant milestone in Bolney’s growth strategy,” said Samantha Cross, marketing controller at Bolney Wine Estate. “Our focus remains on strengthening consumer awareness of why Bolney has been a leader in English wine production for over 50 years, whilst reinforcing our position in a competitive market.

“With the vineyard redevelopment plans underway, expanding retailer listings for our signature products, and strategic partnerships with premium international events such as Cowes Week under our belts, we are delighted to be leading the way and taking Bolney prime time.”

Bolney Estate’s range of English still and sparkling wines are produced in rural West Sussex, near Haywards Heath. They are sold in retailers including Waitrose, Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Morrisons.
