Kiwi alcohol-free cocktail brand Free AF has sealed a grocery debut with Morrisons.
Its Apero Spritz, and Spiced Rumm & Ginger have launched in stores nationwide (rsp: £2.50/250ml). Its full range including an alcohol-free Margarita are also available via DTC and on Amazon.
Free AF’s non-alcoholic cocktails contain a secret blend of botanical extracts dubbed Afterglow. The all-natural proprietary ingredient delivered “the warm happy glow of a cocktail, without the booze”, according to Free AF.
Since launching in New Zealand five years ago, Free AF has grown to become the bestselling non-alcoholic RTD brand in its native market.
Expansion into the US in 2023 has helped sales grow by more than 100% year on year for the past two years. Free AF is now stocked in over 4,000 distribution points in the US, including in Target and Walmart stores.
“The UK is one of the most exciting no/low markets in the world and we’re thrilled to be launching with both Morrisons and online,” said Free AF founder Lisa King. “Free AF exists to give people sophisticated, alcohol-free cocktails that taste and feel like the real thing – and Afterglow is what makes that possible.
“Our goal is to help retailers meet the huge and growing demand from consumers who want to drink less without compromising on taste, experience or culture.”
