
Kopparberg has expanded its Sweet Vintage portfolio with a duo of new 7% abv flavours.
Strawberry & Lime and Mixed Fruit will hit 300 Morrisons stores on 21 November (rsp: £3/500ml).
The NPD would “build on the success” of Sweet Vintage Apple and Pear, which delivered £3.4m in retail sales value in the last year, said Kopparberg, citing Circana data.
Sweet Vintage was “helping to re-energise the high-abv cider segment by attracting younger, flavour-driven shoppers back into the category”, the brand added.
“Our Sweet Vintage Apple and Pear variants have been a standout success, resonating with younger consumers and bringing excitement back to higher-abv cider,” said Kopparberg head of marketing Rob Salvesen. “Extending this success to our most iconic flavours – Strawberry & Lime and Mixed Fruit – allows us to combine the unmistakable taste of Kopparberg with a fuller-bodied, higher-strength cider that fits perfectly with high-tempo occasions.”
