Lucky Saint has added an alcohol-free Weissbier to its roster.
Lucky Saint Superior German Weissbier has launched via DTC in single bottles and eight-pack multipacks (rsp: £2.40/500ml). Single bottles of the 0.5% abv brew will also roll into Sainsbury’s stores on 5 October.
Like Lucky Saint’s flagship Unfiltered Lager, the new brew is produced in Germany using only natural ingredients.
“Weissbier was a source of inspiration for Lucky Saint’s Unfiltered Lager all the way back in 2018,” said Lucky Saint founder Luke Boase. “It’s a style of beer that lends itself well to being alcohol-free: being unfiltered it retains genuine flavour and character.
“So, it only seems fitting that some seven years later, we are introducing Lucky Saint Superior German Weissbier. A hazy amber beer with a velvety white head and a fruit forward finish. As always, it’s left unfiltered for maximum flavour and body.”
Superior German Weissbier brings the total number of beers in Lucky Saint’s lineup to four.
Having initially produced solely its Unfiltered Lager until late in 2023, the brand branched out by adding a Hazy IPA to its roster ahead of Dry January.
Then, in March of this year, it added Lemon Lager, a 0.5% abv radler cut with lemon juice.
Lucky Saint was founded in 2018 by Boase and has gone on to become the UK’s biggest pureplay alcohol-free beer brand.
Last year, its off-trade sales grew by £2.3m to £8.9m [NIQ 52 w/e 19 April 2025].
