McCoy’s has added two limited-edition “NFL-inspired” crisps variants to kick off its second season sponsoring NFL UK & Ireland.
Blazin’ Buffalo Chicken Wings and Secret Burger Sauce have hit shelves in multipacks of six (rsp: £2.25/6x25g). The former will also be available to convenience retailers in a £1.35 PMP (65g) in early August.
McCoy’s will also roll out an on-pack promotion across its entire range, from 4 August until 9 November, offering shoppers the chance to win the top prize of an all-expenses-paid trip to Super Bowl LX at Levi’s Stadium in the Bay Area in California.
Shoppers will also have the chance to win tickets to the 2025 NFL London Games and official NFL merchandise, alongside cash prizes.
Each promotional pack features a QR code, which consumers can scan to access a dedicated microsite. There, they enter their details for a chance to either win instantly or be entered into weekly prize draws.
“We are thrilled to be celebrating our massive partnership with the NFL by launching two bold new McCoy’s flavours, capitalising on the brand’s reputation for exciting flavour innovation,” said McCoy’s marketing manager Amy Heap.
To support the partnership, McCoy’s will extend its ‘It’s crunch time’ ad campaign, which premiered across video-on-demand and out-of-home last month.
