Ocado Retail has launched a rewards programme for holders of its Smart Pass, which gives paying customers access to free delivery.
The new programme will offer “significant discounts off sought-after products, experiences and services” Ocado said, with the rewards “curated to appeal to fun-seeking families, food fanatics and savvy shoppers looking to save money on the brands they love”.
Customers can choose as many offers as they like from a selection of 15 featured deals that are on offer at any one time.
Offers live in the first month of Smart Pass Rewards include three months free on an annual subscription to UK food magazine Good Food; a third off the membership price to the Royal Horticulture Society; and 40 days of membership to Kids Pass for £1, providing them money off entry to theme parks, zoos, cinemas, aquariums and more.

The monthly subscription Smart Pass was launched in its current from in 2013. The scheme is a paid membership programme that gives customers free delivery on their orders. Membership fees start from £9.99 a month for an Anytime Pass, with access to free delivery seven days a week, and £4.99 a month for a Midweek Pass, offering delivery on weekdays between Tuesday and Thursday. Other key perks to the passes include exclusive sales, and priority access to Christmas delivery slots.
Both memberships now give customers access to the full range of Smart Pass Rewards.
“At Ocado Retail, the customer is truly at the heart of everything we do. We know shoppers are keenly focused on finding the best value,” said Dan Elton, chief customer officer at Ocado Retail. “The expanded Smart Pass Rewards programme has been carefully designed to deliver exactly that, offering our members the ideal way to secure fantastic deals on a wide range of experiences and brands that we know they’ll love.”
The new rewards are available through the Ocado.com website, powered by the retailer’s partnership with e-commerce platform Tyviso, which works with brands including Plusnet, Hoover, EE and natural deodorant brand Wild on reward schemes and gifts upon purchase initiatives.
