Procter & Gamble looks set to add wet wipes to its Swiffer disposable duster range later this year. P&G would not confirm the move, but it is thought to be a bid to dent the Pledge and Dettol brands' dominance of the wipes sector and offset poor sales for Swiffer. A Swiffer starter pack with eight cloths and a pole was launched here two years ago (rsp: £11.99). The wipes are expected to target the higher end of the wipes market. {{P&P }}
