Kuldip Kular, MD of 2 Sisters Food Group’s chilled division, is to leave the business after 15 years.
Kular will remain at the protein giant until the end of January next year, after which he will be replaced by Simon Wookey, currently commercial director of the group’s frozen division.
“As one of the most highly respected members of Ranjit Singh’s senior leadership team, Kuldip feels now is the right time to ‘hand the baton on’,” a spokesman for 2 Sisters said.
Kular will work with Wookey to ensure a smooth handover and will also help the procurement team with a key project before he leaves, the spokesman added. “He leaves with our very best wishes for the future.”
Kular was at Northern Foods prior to its takeover by 2 Sisters in April 2011.
