Kirsty Wilkins Moy Park

Poultry supplier Moy Park has announced the appointment of Kirsty Wilkins to the role of HR and organisation development director.

Wilkins joined Moy Park in November from Tulip, the UK subsidiary of pork co-operative Danish Crown, where she was group HR director for 11 years. Prior to that, she headed up personnel at Ginsters owner Samworth Brothers.

“Moy Park places a great emphasis on the development of its people and I’m looking forward to lending my experience and expertise to support its continued growth,” said Wilkins.

Wilkins replaces Mike Mullan, who left Moy Park in June after six years to set up an HR consultancy. Her remit includes leading HR operations, communications and corporate responsibility initiatives while contributing to strategic development. Driving talent management will also become an integral part of the role, said a spokesman.

“We are pleased to welcome Kirsty to lead Moy Park’s HR and organisation development strategy,” said Moy Park CEO Janet McCollum. “Her passion, extensive experience and knowledge of the food sector will be an invaluable asset to support the continued growth of the business.”

Northern Ireland-based Moy Park was sold to US chicken giant Pilgrim’s Pride in September by its scandal-hit Brazilian parent JBS for $1.3bn (£1bn). It reported an increase in revenues of 11.3% to £392.6m in the third quarter on strong volume growth, favourable exchange rate movements and recovery of cost inflation.
