Flat breads maker Mission Foods has announced the appointment of Peter Ellis as managing director of its UK and Ireland business, with effect from 4 April.
Ellis – who joins from Premier Foods, where he was general manager, international – will report to Rodolfo Maldonado, CEO of Europe, the Middle East and Africa division at parent company Gruma.
“I am delighted to be joining the Gruma team in EMEA,” said Ellis, who has held senior leadership roles at Campbell Soup Company in the UK, Europe and Russia.
“I have long admired the rich history and growth of Gruma globally, and relish the opportunity to lead the UK and Ireland business as it continues to break new ground and propel the industry this company has pioneered for many years.”
Maldonado added: “Peter’s arrival further strengthens the excellent leadership team we have built across the region to support the unprecedented growth levels we are experiencing in EMEA.”
