The Amazon-owned retailer has partnered with Addison Lee for the Easter delivery service

Whole Foods Market has launched an online store where customers can order the full range of Easter products.

The online store has launched with around 80 seasonal products, including “sustainable salmon starters and easy-to-carve legs of lamb”, as well as vegan alternatives, gluten-free hot cross buns, Easter eggs and organic wines.

The service is available for both delivery and in-store collection in London only. Home delivery costs £9.99 per order, with Whole Foods only delivering to postcodes within a five-mile radius of one of its four stores – Fulham, Kensington, Piccadilly and Richmond.

Although the retailer is owned by Amazon – which bought it in 2017 in a £13bn deal – it has decided to partner with a third-party provider, Addison Lee, to fulfil the home delivery service.

The Easter online delivery service is available from 14 to 16 April at Wholefoodsmarket.co.uk. Shoppers must place their order by 10 April.

Some Whole Foods products are also available to buy on Amazon via its rapid delivery service, Fresh, depending on location.
