M&S cafés are offering a free kids’ meal with every £5 spent by a parent or carer during the February half-term school holiday.
A free meal from the retailer’s kids’ menu, which would normally cost £4, is available from 13 until 24 February, in a repeat of a deal also offered by M&S last year.
The retailer is one of a number offering special deals to help feed kids, along with Tesco, Asda and Morrisons.
M&S kids’ meal includes a main, snack and drink, with choices such as pancakes with blueberries & honey or jacket potato with beans & sausages.
“We know how much parents and carers have to think about during half term, as well as keeping little one’s tums full,” said M&S marketing & hospitality director Sharry Cramond.
“I’m so pleased we are bringing back our Kids Eat Free deal at a time when we are all feeling the pinch. We look forward to hearing what our mini-café fans think of their visits.”

Tesco cafés are offering a free kids’ meal worth up to £3.50 when a parent spends as little as 60p, in a deal also running from 13 until 24 February. The free meals available include Kids Breakfast, Kids Hot Meal Deal and Kids Cold Pick and Mix Deal.
Like M&S’s offer, Tesco’s Kids Eat Free scheme is a repeat of a deal that ran in 2022, when 418,000 free meals were claimed, according to the supermarket.
Tesco CEO Jason Tarry said: “We know that household budgets can be stretched over the school holidays, so offering free meals to children when they’re off school is one of the ways we can support families during this time.”
Asda cafés are offering a hot meal for kids under 16 for £1 until the end of March, as well as soup and a roll at £1 for the over-60s, in deals launched last year.
Morrisons cafés are offering under-16s a free meal with any adult meal costing £4.49 or more.
