Harlequin Logistics has won a major contract to deliver Kellogg’s products from its Manchester site to retailer RDCs and wholesalers nationwide.

The contract is its first big win after Harlequin launched last year. The company is part-owned by five privately-owned hauliers and bills itself as an alternative to logistics giants such as DHL.

When the company launched, MD Paul Smith said Harlequin’s lower overheads meant it could offer contracts at around 5% less than the giants.
