Food to go brand Sushi Daily has launched a new loyalty scheme that will give UK shoppers access to free sushi.

KellyDeli, the brand’s owner, said it was rolling out the scheme nationwide after a short trial earlier this year led to an uplift in sales and ”customer satisfaction”.

Under the new points-based loyalty scheme – called Sushi Daily Club – members will be able to collect one virtual stamp for every pack of sushi they purchase. To redeem their stamp, customers will have to manually enter a code, found on each individual pack, on to their account via the Sushi Daily app or website.

After they’ve collected six stamps they’ll be offered a complimentary six-pack serving of maki rolls, with the choice of either one of tuna, salmon, cucumber or avocado variants.

The offer applies to any order from either one of Sushi Daily’s 163 retail kiosks in Waitrose and Asda stores, delivery platforms Just Eat and Deliveroo, or from the brand’s click & collect site sushidaily.com.

Any customer who signs up before 19 November will be offered a free six-piece maki pack, the company said.

“We’re delighted to roll out the Sushi Daily Club for all customers in the UK, as we received fantastic feedback and saw a positive increase in like-for-like sales during the initial trial,” said KellyDeli global brand director Romy Miller.

“Not only are we able to reward our loyal customers with more of what they love – high-quality sushi – but the Sushi Daily Club helps us develop as a business by providing valuable data on customer preferences which helps guide innovation around our new menus and marketing.”
