Scrapping the six-bottle minimum and halting estate expansion failed to impress investors as the share price tumbled 25% in 2015. But Gormley’s ‘Jedi’ strategy of giving store managers more power is starting to deliver, with sales for the 10 weeks to 5 January 2015 up 3.7%.
