Waitrose is now highlighting multibuy deals and other promotions with a new ‘ways to spend less’ tag

Waitrose has begun highlighting value-for-money deals in a new ‘ways to spend less’ campaign.

The supermarket has introduced a new ‘Waitrose ways to spend less’ logo, highlighting offers both in store and online, including its £15 pizza meal deal and newly launched dine in for two meal deal.

At its Berkhamsted branch, Waitrose’s new green and yellow ‘ways to spend less’ label was prominently displayed this week above a front of store bulk-buying fixture, featuring cupboard essentials such as baked beans and tuna cans, as well as laundry and toiletries multibuy offers.

In a marketing email to customers yesterday, the grocer said: “Look out for the arrow symbol online and in store to be sure you’re getting great Waitrose value.”

Waitrose added it wanted to make it as easy as possible for customers to spot savings opportunities across stores and communications, with the new colourful logo helping to signpost value across its available offers.

Waitrose commercial director Charlotte di Cello said it was a way of helping customers “manage their spend” while not “compromising on a treat meal”.

She said the grocer was “showing up for our customers” amid the cost of living crisis.

The campaign is also being used to highlight exclusive MyWaitrose offers, as well as multibuy deals on alcohol and household items, meal deals, Essential Waitrose, and budget friendly recipes.

It has also introduced a regular ‘Waitrose Ways to Spend Less’ email which highlights savings to customers.
