Booker has pledged to hold its prices across popular catering products in the run-up to Christmas.
The wholesaler will lock down a wide range of ingredients, including price-volatile products such as fresh meat, rice and oil for at least eight weeks.
Australian beef striploin priced £11.99 per kg, extra mature roasting beef at £6.99 per kg, and Booker Basics white/coloured cheese at £3.65 per kg, are among the prices that will remain frozen.
Stuart Hyslop, sales director, catering said: “As well as fabulous prices on food, we have also included drinks and non-food to help our customers manage every part of their business. The run-up to Christmas is an important time for caterers to get an understanding of their costs.”
