The branded face masks are the latest safety measure the wholesaler has rolled out

JW Filshill has distributed branded face masks to its staff and those working in its 190 KeyStore shops.

The Glasgow-based wholesaler has issued KeyStore employees with face coverings that match the brand’s colours of dark blue with yellow lettering, while staff at JW Filshill have masks with the wholesaler’s branding.

Hand sanitiser stations have been available at the entrance to stores since the spring, along with a raft of other coronavirus measures.

“We were very quick off the mark to provide retailers with Perspex sneeze screens at tills and social distancing floor vinyls for KeyStore More and KeyStore outlets – to provide hygiene safety reassurance for staff but also peace of mind for the increasing number shoppers who were choosing to shop locally at the start of lockdown,” said Craig Brown, chief sales and marketing officer at JW Filshill.

“The new branded face masks are an extension of that support and send out a very strong message that our stores continue to offer a safe environment for staff and their customers.”

Earlier this week, convenience chain One Stop began issuing staff at its company-owned and franchise stores with branded masks.
