Associated British Foods is launching two Nature Friendly flours under its Allinson brand to meet demand for more ethically sourced ingredients.
Available in plain and self-raising variants, Allinson Nature Friendly Flour (rsp: 99p) is available in Asda, Morrisons and The Co-operative Group now and Sainsbury's later this month.
The flours are milled from Conservation Grade wheat guaranteed to come from farms "dedicated to helping wildlife flourish", said ABF, which added that there was regularly five times more wildlife on Nature Friendly farms.
