Now it seems the borough is being rocked by an oat milk shortage, with supplier Oatly unable to cope with demand, according to the New Yorker. “It’s affecting their life styles,” one café owner reports, though fortunately Oatly’s general manager reckons ‘periodic shortages contribute to oat milk’s charm’.
