Woodhead Bakery, the company owned by former Haldanes and Ugo CEO Arthur Harris, has opened its first pie shop – in Fantasy Island, Skegness.
Operating as the Woodhead’s Pie People brand, opened last week at the theme park in Skegness. Its range includes flagship product ‘The Wedge’, which also has listings in Morrisons. Plans were in place to open a second Pie People site in London this summer, and to roll out the concept to attractions and sporting venues this year, claimed general manager Andrew Harvey, who is heading up the Skegness operation.
