
Greggs is set to launch a new Chicken Sausage Roll, adding to its original Sausage Roll and Vegan Sausage Roll offerings.
Rolling out into shops nationwide from 9 April, the Chicken Roll will be priced from £1.35. It will also be available via click & collect on the Greggs app.
To mark the launch, the food-to-go chain is inviting customers to a VHS video store-themed Greggs pop-up shop at 15 Bateman Street in Soho, London.
Available on a first-come, first-served basis, visitors will be among the first to try the new Chicken Roll for free, served alongside the Sausage Roll and Vegan Roll. The pop-up will be open today (8 April) from 3.30pm until 9pm.
“They say the best things come in threes, and our iconic roll trilogy is no exception,” said a Greggs spokesperson.
“We’ve given our ‘new chick on the block’ the ultimate A-list treatment to ensure it’s a blockbuster hit with fans across the nation. We can’t wait for our customers to experience the Chicken Roll as the ultimate headline act of our flaky franchise.”
The Chicken Roll is not the only new addition to its menu this year. In February, Greggs unveiled a new iced matcha range featuring a classic Iced Matcha Latte, a Vanilla Iced Matcha Latte, and a Strawberry Iced Matcha Latte as it became the latest food-to-go chain to jump on the matcha trend.
