Greggs: Matcha & Move pilates studio will open in central London

Greggs has become the latest food-to-go chain to jump on the matcha trend, launching a new iced matcha range in shops nationwide.

Rolling out on Thursday 5 February, a trio of drinks will be added to the menu, including the Iced Matcha Latte, the Vanilla Iced Matcha Latte, and the Strawberry Iced Matcha Latte.

The range will also be available via click & collect on the Greggs app, and between 11 February and 18 February app users can earn double the amount of stamps on all new iced matcha drinks.

“We’re on a mission to offer our customers more choice and quality than ever before, without the premium price tag,” said a Greggs spokesperson.

”By introducing our trio of iced matcha drinks, we’re making a trending favourite accessible to everyone on the high street. Importantly, the range doesn’t just look the part, but delivers on taste and quality too – we think our customers are going to love it so matcha.”

To mark the launch of the range, Greggs will open its first-ever pilates studio, called Greggs: Matcha & Move, as an exclusive central London experience running from Friday 13 to Saturday 14 February.

There will be a range of 30-minute slots available to participate in a Greggs-themed pilates session, followed by a free iced matcha and a Greggs sausage roll or vegan roll.

Guests will be provided with limited-edition merchandise, including a Greggs pilates mat, tote bag, sweat towel, socks and a cap. Attendees can also visit the on-site embroidery station to have their tote bag monogrammed with their initials.

General booking for the pilates pop-up will open from 6 February at 12pm via a link on Greggs’ Instagram and TikTok.
